The West wall will explore discussions of people and communities particularly from within Lebanon and The West Bank. It will also explore feelings about the need for community relations and dialogue for communities engaged in conflict.

The Northern Ireland Youth Awards are a way of recognising and celebrating the achievements, talents and energy of young people and those who work with them. One of the seven award categories recognises the contribution of work by the youth sector to peace-building, active citizenship and the promotion of equity, diversity and Interdependent. In addition, the Inclusion Award recognises work aimed at promoting the inclusion of those normally excluded from society.
The evening will be hosted by Cool FM’s Peter Snodden.

'Lithuanian Perspectives on Lisburn'

As part of Island Arts Centre's Community Arts Programme we will be hosting an exhibition of art by Lithuanian artists currently living in the Lisburn area. Entitled 'Lithuanian Perspectives on Lisburn', the exhibition will offer a unique insight into emerging local talent and will also feature artwork created by children as part of a recent IAC community arts project with local Lithuanian families. The exhibition is open to the public during Arts Centre opening hours which are 9.30am-9.30pm Monday-Friday and 9.30am-5pm Saturday.
