This residential event will enable youth workers to build relationships towards peace across traditional divides. Training will be offered in peace building using the model of Youth Links’s ‘Kairos’ programme.

The training sessions will focus on prejudice and explore the origins and consequences of sectarian and racist behaviour. The session is to be held for students of the Armagh Campus of Southern Regional College.

AVEC promotes communication, cooperation and partnership between all those engaged in the delivery of an education service in the various visitor attractions, libraries, museums and other facilities in the City of Armagh. This event is the third annual Armagh Heritage Day, and will be devoted to promoting the wealth of the written and archival heritage contained in the libraries and museums of Armagh City and District.
