Communications and Learning Resources

The Communications and Learning Resources Programme has a key role to play within the Council as good external and internal communications are essential to the work of the organisation. The programme's main aim is to provide and disseminate information about community relations initiatives and resources and to raise the public profile of the Council as a major source of support and advice on community relations work. It also helps to identify and support the production of learning resources and good practice models. The programme is involved in various tasks:

  • Promotion of CRC events and activities
  • Production, distribution and marketing of CRC publications
  • Development of learning materials
  • Dealing with enquiries
  • Maintenance of a database of organisations involved in community relations work
  • Operation of a Reference Library
  • Management and development of the CRC website
  • CRC Press Releases and media relations
  • Staging exhibitions
  • Dissemination of research findings
  • Management of the CRC Publications and Media Grant Scheme
